Nov 13th 2009 Orlando offers families a great holiday destination

For a fun-filled family holiday, Orlando is a brillaint choice. Everyone will be able to appreciate Orlando’s sunny climate and endless entertainment options. An abundance of cheap hotels, exciting adventure parks and true Americana culture assures travellers a holiday to remember.

Kids from one to 101 will love Orlando’s adventure park resorts. The most popular are Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. The younger crowd will love Disney’s iconic characters and fairy-tale themed wonderlands. It’s often referred to as ‘the happiest place on Earth’ and it’s easy to see why. With its Blockbuster and comic book themed parks, Universal is an older child’s paradise. After visiting the park, Universal Citywalk is great for a bite to eat and some live music. Do your research and you’ll be able to find discount deals for both resorts.

If you are looking to bag a retail bargain, Orlando is the place. Whatever you’re after, the several outlet malls are sure to have it – and at a discount. From high street shops to designer boutiques, you will be able to find that perfect outfit for any occasion. Just make sure you pack light so you have enough room in your suitcase to bring back all your bargain buys!

Orlando offers dining options to suit any budget. Many cheap hotels often offer a complimentary continental or hot breakfast included with your stay. This is a great way to keep your costs minimal. Eat a hearty meal in the morning then you will only need a light lunch and can splurge on a fabulous evening meal. If you want to experience the class and scrumptious cuisine of a five-star resort, without the extortionate price-tag, stay somewhere cheap but book a nice meal at one of these resorts. For something a bit more informal, just head down International Drive for a wide-range of restaurants where bookings aren’t neccessary.

Orlando is a destination sure to please every member of the household. The best way to see and do it all on a budget is to keep your accommodation expenses minimal.  With so much to see and do, you will hardly want to spend much time in your room anyways. Cheap hotels will save you money that can be better spent on enjoying a fabulous Floridian holiday.
