When you go looking for holidays in America, what is there for you to book? There has got to be more to America, instead of Theme Parks and Casino’s, what else is there to do. Cattle Ranchers and Cowboys, the Wild West, welcome to the Land of the Six shooters and wranglers, this is America.

So why is all this being disputed, what has happened to this. These are what I believe America is all about. Can anything seem more surreal than heading out to Death Valley and camping out for the night, and then waking up in the morning to some Cattle herding. This to me not only has adventure, but also helps people to get away from everything, to clear your mind and plan out your future.

Adventure holidays are fun for everyone, but are more suited to those that want to take something seriously. This gives you the opportunity to try something you may never have done before. This is a great way for poeple to build teams, and it’s a great confidence booster. But it is also good for families, taking the whole family and getting stuck in with the guides. You can spend your nights underneath the stars, surrounded by yellow and orange cliffs over 500 feet tall.

Ranch holidays are another way to experience life in the Wild West. In my opinion the holiday that allows you to travel back in time and see how things used to be is amazing. So why would you want to go on these holidays, surely it would be to bond with the people around you, and to try your hand at something new.

These holidays cannot be rivalled by anything else in the world, Las Vegas holidays are receiving millions of people every year, and these holidays should be in higher demand. Try finding a holiday that you really want to try, a relaxing one or one that takes you into the wilderness, just you, a tent and a saucepan!

I was waiting to book my holiday till around Christmas time this year, so that I could take the family on a nice holiday to the Caribbean. St Lucia was so great last year, that i have just now booked another one, so hopefully we will have just as much fun as we did last year. If i hadn’t had so much to do when i came back from my holiday, i would have written about this sooner. So seeing as I am booking a holiday back to St Lucia, and i have some free time, I thought I would explain my last holiday there to you.

We landed at an airport called the Hewanorra airport, a very modern and classy airport. The Accommodation at the Le Sport hotel we were staying at was amazing. St Lucia has a lovely forest that covers most of the island, and we went on two safaris through the jungle, other than that we spent a lot of our time at the beach.

I had heard that there was a Volcano on St Lucia, yet i never new that we could visit it, let alone drive into it. The Last time i went to a Volcano was in Greece, near the island of Kos. This Drive in Volcano is called the St Lucia sulphur springs. This Volcano is Dormant, so there is nothing for you to worry about, just that if the smell of sulphur fades, this means the Volcano is preparing to Erupt!

There are some points in the crater, if you look carefully where even the Mud is boiling. This is one of the reasons why people cannot actually walk through the crater, because a tour guide fell into one of these puddles while jumping on one. So now you may only drive through it on the designated path. There were some very dashing and beautiful colours sprayed all over the Volcano, and the bubbling sulphur mud pits were quite a sight. This sort of opportunity shouldn’t be passed up, so definitely give it a go. I am heading back there this year for more Volcano experience.
