When most folk debate vacations in Great Britain they frequently just mention seaside resorts such as Weston-super-Mare, Skegness, Southport and Bognor Regis. Occasionally people might debate having a short break in a specific English county such as the county of Devon in the south of England but rarely do they debate having a vacation in the city of Exeter. The following article introduces various reasons why an Exeter vacation is a cool idea.

One of the first reasons for taking a short break in Exeter is that the accommodation is extremely reasonable with Exeter bed and breakfast available in the region of £25 a night and numerous rooms around the £40-50 range.

Further away, between Exeter and Plymouth is the hardly populated moorland of the Dartmoor National Park with the general area having several tourist attractions to visit including Buckland Abbey, Buckfast Abbey and A La Ronde along the main route, to Plymouth. Along the way you will pass the Torbay area, which is made up of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham and is commonly called the English Riviera region.

Exeter truly is a superb place in which to have a vacation but why not discuss having a twin destination vacation and spend a couple of days and nights in a plush hotel in Plymouth and tour the spectacular countryside in between the two excellent vacation destinations?
